    (Sacramento) – Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale), Chair of the Subcommittee on Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response, has been leading a series of informational hearings to develop new and more effective workplace sexual harassment policies and responses. In the Subcommittee’s fifth hearing the focus was on “Preventing Sexual Harassment through Training and Culture Change” and included reports from specialists in in the field.     (Sacramento) – In response to the growing movement to end the culture of workplace sexual harassment in the Capitol community, Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale), Chair of the Subcommittee on Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response, has been leading a series of informational hearings to develop new and more effective workplace sexual harassment policies and responses. In the Subcommittee’s third hearing the focus was on “Best Practices for Reporting Sexual Harassment and Providing Victim Support” and included testimony from human resources managers, technology specialists who are developing reporting tools and victim support experts.
